Sam Lissner
Sam Lissner grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey and attended Cresskill High School. He received his A.B. from Harvard in Near Eastern Studies and Government in 2008, and a M.S. in Energy Policy & International Business from NYU in 2010. In addition to sustainable mobility, Sam is interested in the geopolitics of energy, electricity markets, renewable energy and efficiency technologies. Sam specialized in alternative fuels research at the Network for New Energy Choices in Manhattan and worked on the Region II Mobile Sources Team at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. At the Energy Information Administration (U.S. Department of Energy), Sam analyzed pending U.S. federal and state laws to regulate the production of shale natural gas. Sam is an avid musician and golfer, and is a founding member of the 100-Hole Golf Marathon Group. He currently resides in New York City.

Peter Rose
Peter Rose earned his BA in Political Science and Communications from the American University in Paris in 2002, one year of post-graduate work in public policy at Sciences Po, Paris in 2007 and a M.S. in Energy & Environmental Policy from NYU in 2010. He is particularly interested in the convergence of energy and environmental issues as they relate to mobility. In addition to the energy and transportation research he conducted in Israel, Abu Dhabi and Spain, he participated in an exclusive research trip to the Canadian Oil Sands in Alberta, sponsored by the Canadian Consulate of New York. In June 2010, he will take part in the “Quebec Young Leaders Program” organized by the Government of Quebec during which he will meet with policymakers and business leaders in the energy and transportation sectors. He worked for 2 years at UNICEF Headquarters in New York prior to returning to graduate school and is a member of the US and NYC chapters of the US Green Buildings Council. He also created the green division for Bullfrog Pest Management, Inc, a green pest control company serving Long Island, NY.
